SUMMARY:COURSE—Sleep Yoga: The Yoga of Clear Light
DESCRIPTION:Sleep Yoga: The Yoga of Clear Light\nwith Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche \nThis is a 4 week course \nWe spend one-third of our life in sleep\, yet for most people sleep is a period of unconsciousness. Through the practices of the Yoga of Clear Light we can learn to be completely aware during our sleep\, open\, clear\, resting in deep meditative presence. But how do we get from our current stress and disrupted sleep patterns to the state of clear light? \nThis course will introduce simple techniques to enter into sleep in a healthy\, balanced way. Even if we do not consistently enter into clear light sleep\, we can benefit from a refreshing\, relaxed sleep that gives us deep renewal. This is supported by breathing techniques\, physical postures and guided visualizations. Tenzin Rinpoche will also provide a meditation to wake up in a beautiful way\, feeling the blessings of sleep and stepping into our day with serenity. Through these simple practices we can transform our sleep to be one of tranquility and awareness.\n \n Learn More & Register

SUMMARY:COURSE—Ngöndro: The Foundational Practices
DESCRIPTION:Ngöndro: The Foundational Practices\nwith Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche \nThe ngöndro teachings are a set of nine practices that offer complete instructions for taming\, purifying\, and perfecting the suffering mind. Although these practices are considered the foundation for entrance into the five-part cycle of Tibetan Bön dzogchen teachings – Bön’s highest teachings on the nature of mind – many practitioners adopt the ngöndro as their main meditation and complete the nine sets of 100\,000 repetitions over the course of a lifetime. Within each is contained the entire path to liberation. They are considered to be the foundational practices for the entire tradition. \nTenzin Wangyal Rinpoche rarely teaches the ngöndro\, and recommends it for dedicated practitioners who feel a strong connection to the Bön lineage. Within the ngöndro are found practices that are used within many other practices\, such as the Guru Yoga Prayer\, Bodhicitta Prayer\, Refuge Prayer\, Prostrations\, and the Three Heart Mantras\, so the ngöndro supports and deepens all other meditation practices. \nParticipation in a ngöndro retreat or this online course is a prerequisite for continuing the Experiential Transmission of Zhang Zhung series. Tenzin Rinpoche will offer Part 2 of the series in December 2021. \nRob Patzig will be the mentor for this course. \nThis course is ongoing through December. Registration continues to be open after the start date. \n \n Learn More & Register

SUMMARY:COURSE—Meditation\, Breath and Movement
DESCRIPTION:Meditation\, Breath and Movement\nwith Alejandro Chaoul-Reich \nThis is a 4 week course \nTsa lung is a series of ancient yogic practices that brings balance and harmony to our physical body\, energy and mind. The term tsa lung can be translated as the energy-winds (Tibetan: lung\, Skt. prana\, Chinese\, qi) in the Channels\, for these practices are designed to open the subtle channels\, guiding the healthy flow of the energy-winds so that we can enjoy good health and reconnect with more calmness to a quiet\, peaceful mind. These exercises are easy to perform and are suitable for everyone. \nThere are three levels of tsa lung practice: external\, internal and secret. External tsa lung works primarily on the physical level\, using simple movements and breath exercises to balance the energies within our body. Internal tsa lung works more at the level of breath and subtle energy\, bringing our attention to opening the five chakras and the central channel. Secret tsa lung uses subtle visualizations within the chakras and central channel to bring harmony to the mind\, so that we can rest in our inner refuge\, nature of mind. All of the tsa lung exercises integrate and balance the five elements within: earth\, water\, fire\, wind and space. \nThese practices are drawn from the Bön Mother Tantra (Tibetan: Ma Gyud) the highest tantra in our tradition. They are a beautiful complement to any meditation practice\, and particularly to dzogchen. They are frequently performed at the beginning of a session so that meditation is deeper and more stable. External tsa lung is commonly performed in all Ligmincha centers and groups. \n \n Learn More & Register

SUMMARY:COURSE—The Three Heart Mantras of Bön
DESCRIPTION:The Three Heart Mantras\n with Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche \nThis is a 5 week course \nThe Three Heart Mantras are used in many different meditations in the Bön tradition and play a major role in the ngöndro practices. They are said to be the essence of enlightenment in sound and energy\, and as we sing or chant the mantras our awareness is transformed to be in union with the Buddhas. They are used for purification\, protection and as primary practices toward self-realization. \nIt is said that creating these mantras in any form brings merit and purification\, so they are commonly found carved into stones\, printed on prayer flags where they spread their benefits through the winds\, and even drawn with gold ink and kept on shrines as an object of reverence and meditation. Their blessings are said to be endless. Also within this course Tenzin Rinpoche explains the essence of the Guru Yoga\, Refuge and Bodhicitta practices\, making this an excellent introduction to the tradition. \n \n Learn More & Register

SUMMARY:COURSE—Tibetan Dream Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Tibetan Dream Yoga\nwith Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche \nThis is a 4 week course \n“The practice of dream yoga is about understanding more about appearances and what they truly are. And ultimately\, it is about understanding who we are\, the true sense of self.”– Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche \nWe spend a third of our lives sleeping. Every night we participate in profound mysteries\, moving from one dimension of experience to another\, losing our sense of self and finding it again\, and yet we take it all for granted. We wake up in the morning and continue in “real” life\, but in a sense we are still asleep and dreaming. The teachings tell us that we can continue in this deluded\, dreamy state\, day and night\, or wake up to the truth. \nThrough practice\, we can cultivate greater awareness during every moment of life. If we do\, freedom and flexibility continually increase and we are less governed by habitual preoccupations and distractions. Eventually we develop a continuity of awareness that allows us to maintain full awareness during dream as well as in waking life. When we fully develop this capacity\, we will find that we are living both waking and dreaming life with greater ease\, comfort\, clarity\, and appreciation. \nWorkshop Features: \n\nFour-week teacher-guided online workshop\nStep-by-step class video instructions (via streaming video)\, with available Spanish Subtitles and English closed captions\nNew material released twice a week including eight all-new guided meditations\nEight hours of video instruction\, exercises\, and downloadable meditations\nNo set class times – review video instruction any time and as often as necessary throughout the workshop\nContinuous personal support and individual advice from Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche via workshop forums\nEasy to use and navigate course site\n\n\n\n\n \n Learn More & Register
