Geshe Tenzin Yangton returns to teaching!

Geshe Tenzin Yangton was the first permanent resident lama of Serenity Ridge Retreat Center. All who met Geshe-la or were blessed to study with him recall his gentleness, kind nature, and deep knowledge of the teachings. Whether teaching sutra, tantra or dzogchen, Geshe Yangton made the teachings approachable to all. 

After leaving Serenity Ridge and residing at Menri Monastery, Geshe Yangton, then went on an extended personal retreat. In December of 2024 he came out of retreat and returned to Katmandhu, Nepal, where he currently resides. This will be his first teaching since leaving Serenity Ridge and his first time teaching on line. 

We hope you will join us in welcoming Geshe-la back to teaching western students, and take advantage of this special opportunity to receive the wisdom of the Bön teachings and his direct experience. While he is still contemplating the topic for the weekend, we know that this will be a very special gift for all who come.
