| At each summer retreat we organize an auction to help provide needed funds for Serenity Ridge’s mission to hold sacred space for practice, to provide educational programs and to preserve the Bön teachings.

We have some exciting programs being developed for Serenity Ridge by Rinpoche, our Ligmincha Resident Lamas and Khandro Tsering Wangmo Khymsar. We will share details as soon as we can. We also need to do some significant work to the Lama House to prevent the basement from flooding. We had some terrific storms during this summer retreat, and the house gutters and drainage system could not keep up. The result is that the basement flooded, where two of the lamas have been sleeping. We have temporarily moved them into a room in the Garuda House. The basement is now dry and can be used again, but we need to fix the drainage issue so that does not happen again. |
