A free, all-day event, organized by Ligmincha Charlottesville and Tom Tom Foundation
For the second year in a row, on Sunday, April 21st, Ligmincha Charlottesville, in collaboration with the Tom Tom Foundation, has organized a day-long offering of practice, nature, education, and community. The theme of the day is: “Our Loving-Nature: Self, Community, and Our Place in the World,” and it is a part of the “Conscious City” endeavors of the Tom Tom Festival taking place all weekend long.
This all takes place at Riverview Park in Charlottesville, VA. The day starts with a land blessing and guided practice on the elements with Lama Nyima Kalsang of Ligmincha Mexico at 9:15 a.m. There will be guided meditations, time to walk on the trails, music, a panel discussion, canoeing, and more. Everyone is invited to come! You can bring lunch and/or dinner and stay all day, or come just for what you want.
This event is really about being in community, finding beauty in the nature that is all around us, and finding simple ways to positively impact our environment.
