Getting to Crestone
Crestone is located in south-central Colorado. The closest major airports are Colorado Springs (3 hrs.) Denver (4 hrs.) and Albuquerque (5 hrs.). Alamosa has a small commuter airport serviced by Boutique Air, a codeshare partner with United Airlines, about an hour from Crestone.
Most people rent a car after flying into one of the above airports, but Bustang provides daily bus service to and from Denver. For details see bus and shuttles bellow.
For driving instructions see our link to Google maps below. The Chamma Ling retreat center is on Camino Baca Grande, about one-half of a mile beyond where it turns to gravel. You will see a sign at our entrance.
Please contact us before visiting, for much of the time people are in closed retreat at our cabins.

Bustang provides daily bus service from Denver, Alamosa, and Pueblo and is the least expensive way to get to Chamma Ling from an airport. The fare is about $30 one way to downtown Denver, where it connects with the RTD skyRide bus to the Denver airport. The Bustang bus picks up and drops off at Moffat, about 15 miles from Chamma Ling, so you will need to arrange for a shuttle service or Retreat Attendant to pick you up at Moffat.
To get to Chamma Ling from Denver via Bustang take their Denver – Gunnison route, and transfer at Salida to the Pueblo – Alamosa route. Purchase tickets in advance using the Bustang mobile app for iPhone and Android.
There are two shuttle services that will pick up from regional airports or Moffat. This can be less expensive than renting a car if you will be staying for a lengthy retreat. Check with the services below to get their current rates.

When we have an event coming up in the near future you will find a public ride sharing board here. We provide this service so that people attending our events may seek out and share rides to and from Crestone.
We don’t leave the board open at all times in order to avoid spam postings. Please note that we also provide information on local shuttle services as well.
