Dear Ligmincha Community,
How fortunate we all are to receive abundant teachings and blessings from this precious lineage!
Recently we had the joy of hosting His Holiness with many other lamas at Serenity Ridge Retreat Center. Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche taught on Tummo in the mornings and His Holiness taught on the 24 Masters in the afternoons. After the two week summer retreat, His Holiness traveled to Mexico to Valle de Bravo and gave teachings in the Great Stupa!
Another teacher from Menri Monastery, Menri Shedrup Khenpo Geshe Nyima Dhondup Rinpoche, the abbot of the Dialectic School, recently gave teachings in Poland, Hungary, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands in May and June. We will be welcoming Menri Shedrup Rinpoche to Serenity Ridge in September. If you are in Europe, I hope that you had an opportunity to study and practice with him. If you are in the United States, I hope that you will make time to visit him during his stay with us. He’s an excellent teacher with a good command of the English language.
In October, Rinpoche will be teaching Dream Yoga from the Mother Tantra at Serenity Ridge, and we will have other scientists, lucid dreaming experts and Tibetan a Tibetan physician presenting and offering a variety of perspectives on the art and science of dreaming in the afternoons.
Outside of the many practice and retreat activities taking place all around the world, we are working on a whole series of new programs and supports for practitioners, practice leaders and our resident lamas. I look forward to sharing more about these things with you in future letters.
