About Ligmincha
To introduce and support the deepening of meditation practice, we offer teachings, connection through Facebook, and an online store for books and practice-related items. In recognition of the international nature of our community, we provide real-time translation and/or subtitles in as many as 20 languages. We also maintain five physical retreat centers and have many local practice groups around the world.
Additional practice opportunities exist with our sister organizations. Lishu Institute, in Uttarakhand, India supports intensive study and practice (in sessions from two weeks to two months), and The 3 Doors presents the Bön dzogchen teachings in secular programs applicable to everyday life..

CODE OF CONDUCT (PDF)
Ligmincha has adopted a code of conduct that reflects our highest aspirations for ourselves as a community, and a process to hearing, evaluating and working to avoid or resolve conflicts within our communities of practice. We have adopted additional commitments that are expected of all our Our teachers and practice leaders are expected to abide by additional commitments, which can be found in our “Additional Commitments of Teachers” documents. Both are available in multiple languages and can be access through the below link. Questions about them may be sent to conduct@ligmincha.org.

Preserving Bön for the Future
Our founder and spiritual director is Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche. A global network of resident lamas, authorized Western teachers, practice leaders and volunteers support his activities.
In addition to supporting the global Bön community, we work to ensure its preservation for future generations. We provide assistance to monks and nuns and their monasteries and nunneries, and preserve the teachings and instructions via audio and video recordings in their original languages and in translation. Through Sacred Sky Press we publish Bön texts and in and practice materials translated from the original Tibetan.
Service to others is a key aspect of the teachings and our practice. To that end, we are a volunteer-run organization with few paid staff positions. There are many ways you can help support Bön, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, and our growing community. Contact info@ligmincha.org. To get involved at a local level please contact the person listed on the relevant country page.
Ligmincha International was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit in 1992. In 2016 we also became recognized as a religious institution. Until 2016 Ligmincha filed Form 990’s, a type of annual report, with the IRS. As a religious institution, we are no longer required to make such filings. Instead, we now publish annual reports and post them directly on our website.
All of our annual financial information is reviewed by an accounting firm but are unaudited.
Please direct any questions to our Chief Financial Officer.
