Celebrating Tonpa Shenrap’s and Nyame Sherap Gyaltsen’s Births

Join Geshe Denma Gyaltsen and Geshe Yungdrung Gyatso and Ligmincha International practitioners around the world on Zoom as we celebrate Tonpa Shenrab Miwoche’s 18,038th Birth Anniversary and Nyame Sherap Gyaltsen’s 365th Birth Anniversary.

Buddha Tonpa Shenrap Miwoche (16,017 BC-7,817 BC) is the founder of the Yungdrung Bön. Nyame Sherap Gyaltsen (1356–1415) was the first abbot and founder of Menri Monastery, the mother monastery of Bön in Tibet. He is the second Buddha of Yungdrung Bön.  

Geshe Denma Gyaltsen, resident lama of Ligmincha Texas and Geshe Yungdrung Gyatso, resident lama of Ligmincha Poland, will lead special prayers for this celebration.
