Free Event—Practice & Service Day

Serenity Ridge is excited to welcome His Holiness the 34th Menri Trizin to the Summer Retreat. In preparation for his arrival, Serenity Ridge is hosting a June practice and service retreat.  This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to our community and prepare for Rinpoche and our special guests’ arrival.

Schedule

• 9:30 a.m.: Welcome with tea and coffee
• 10:00 a.m.: Practice in the Gompa
• 10:30 a.m.: Service instructions and assignments
• 10:45 a.m.–12:00 p.m.: Volunteer service activities
• 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m.: Potluck 
• 1:00 p.m.–1:30 p.m. Cleanup
• 1:30 p.m.–3:00 p.m. Volunteer service activities
• 3:00 p.m.–3:30 p.m. Cleanup

Volunteer activities will focus on building, cleaning, and maintenance, including painting, window washing, power-washing, Lama House preparation, and gardening. This is a perfect chance to reconnect with friends and make new connections within our community.
