2025 Silent Dzogchen Meditation Retreat
with Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
September 30 - October 5, 2025
Silence is a powerful tool. Sitting in stillness and resting in silence, the mind can grow more calm and our awareness more luminous. Silence helps us to open the heart and let go of the stresses of daily life. It is a powerful tool for personal transformation and expanded awareness.
Come join Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche for his first silent retreat in many years. He will support us in finding a deep connection to our inner stillness, silence and spaciousness. Once per day Rinpoche will provide instruction and there will be opportunities to ask questions about practice, and there will be time for connecting with other retreatants on the last day. The rest of our time in and out of the meditation hall will be spent in noble silence.
Lama Kalsang Nyima, resident Lama of Ligmincha Mexico, will support Rinpoche and attendees during this retreat
If you are experienced with dzogchen meditation or this is your first time, you are warmly invited to join us. If you are new to Serenity Ridge, we encourage you to explore our free online course, Starting a Meditation Practice, at LigminchaLearning.com. In it, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche offers clear, step-by-step guidance in the Nine Breathings of Purification, Tsa Lung exercises, and the prayer of Guru Yoga—foundational practices that support meditators at every level and that you will also experience during the retreat.
We offer free lodging on Sunday and Monday nights (October 5 & 6), between the end of the silent retreat and the start of the Serenity Ridge Dialogues as well as breakfast on those days at no charge if you register for both events.
This retreat will be recorded. Recordings will be available for 30 days post retreat.
