Description
It is custom to offer a khata to lamas when greeting and at ceremonial occasions. Khatas are often tied to stupas, statues, trees or other blessed objects. Khatas can be offered again and again, and placed on one’s altar or sacred location.
Do not iron. Khatas are not to be worn as scarves.
