Interfaith Prayers for World Peace

with Khenpo Gyurmey Dorgee, Dolma Ling Nunnery and Institute of Buddhist Dialectics

Next prayer session: Thursday, March 10, 10 a.m. New York time: Prayers for world peace with Khenpo Gyurmey Dorgee, Sakya Order of Tibetan Buddhism; followed by prayers with nuns of the nonsectarian Tibetan Buddhist Dolma Ling Nunnery and Institute of Buddhist Dialectics near Dharamsala, India. Since the start of the conflict in Ukraine, growing numbers of people have lost their homes or their loved ones. Many others have been injured, and many families have been separated.

Toward world peace, join faith leaders from around the globe for online sessions of prayer and silent contemplation. Beginning Sunday, March 6, 2022, on select dates different faith leaders will introduce and guide one-hour live sessions of prayer according to their religious or spiritual affiliations.

Additional prayer groups and special events are being sponsored by a variety of religious and spiritual traditions. See “Other Online Prayer Groups & Special Events,” below, for information on how and when to join them for prayer and group support.

Please consider donating to Ligmincha International’s fundraising efforts on behalf of the situation in Ukraine.
