This two-day retreat offers you the opportunity to explore or deepen your practice of Tibetan meditation and the yoga of the 5 elements, a series of ancient meditative and yogic practices from the Bön Buddhist tradition.
These practices bring balance and harmony to our physical body, energy, emotions, and mind. By helping us clear physical, emotional, and conceptual obstacles in our daily lives, they invite us to rediscover the joy of connecting with our often forgotten or neglected inner self.
The yogic practices are usually done at the beginning of the session to make the meditation deeper and more stable. This helps us discover or reconnect with the open, clear, and warm space within us, our inner refuge, the source of joy and all good qualities, and ultimately to who we truly are.
The retreat will be led by Alejandro Chaoul, an expert teacher of Dzogchen meditation and Tibetan yoga from the Bön tradition. Alejandro has been teaching in North America, South America, and Europe for about thirty years. Trained by some of the greatest Tibetan masters of our time, Alejandro is one of the senior teachers at Ligmincha International and the 3 Doors, two organizations founded by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche.
