July Weekend Service Retreat

Serenity Ridge is listening to our local community. We hear the desire to re-open the Center to support Three Doors practitioners in their retreats.

To open we need your help! The center has been closed since April of 2020. There is much to be done, including setting up the kitchen, cleaning interior spaces, washing windows, gardening and grounds work. Therefore, Serenity Ridge, in the spirit of service as practice and community building, is offering monthly, 1 to 3-day weekend service and practice retreats. Each weekend service retreat will offer room and board, all but one meal (including a catered dinner on Saturday), opportunities to practice together and  time for socializing. These retreat weekends will have a maximum of 15 overnight guests. At this time Serenity Ridge requires that overnight guests are vaccinated. Masks and social distancing are required if you have not been vaccinated. Temperature checks will be done at check in. Anyone with a temperature will not be allowed to participate.

The following is a tentative daily schedule for these retreats:

Friday
9 a.m.–10:00 a.m. Arrival, check-in and room assignments
10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Service
12:30 p.m.–1:00 p.m. Lunch provided by Serenity Ridge
1 p.m.–1:30 p.m. Group Practice
2 p.m.–4:30 p.m. Service
4:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. Break
5 p.m.–5:30 p.m. Alternative arrival and check in
5:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. Potluck Dinner (Everyone attending the retreat brings something to share. Sign-up form will be created.)
7 p.m.–8:30 p.m. Movie

Saturday
7 a.m.–8:00 a.m. Light cold breakfast provided by Serenity Ridge.
8 a.m.–9:00 a.m. Group Practice
9 a.m.–9:30 a.m Alternative arrival and check in
9:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Service
12 p.m.–1:00 p.m. Lunch provided by Serenity Ridge
1 p.m.–1:30 p.m. Group Practice
1:45 p.m.–4:30 p.m. Service
4:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. Break
5:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. Catered Dinner
7:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m. Campfire, music celebration (bring an instrument)

Sunday
