The Twenty-One Nails

Event Details

with Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche

The teachings of the Twenty-One Nails are a direct expression of enlightenment—our natural mind. Each nail describes this natural state from a different angle. These views are called “nails” or “seals” because they stabilize the constructive experiential understanding of the natural state. They belong to one of the most appreciated dzogchen texts within the oral transmission of the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyü.

It is said that these teachings came directly from the original Buddha, Küntu Zangpo. They have been transmitted orally, and later in writing, through an unbroken lineage that includes Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche.

During this retreat Rinpoche will guide us, with his usual wisdom and warmth, through these teachings and practices. New practitioners will have the opportunity to know and experience these extraordinary teachings of the Bön lineage. And for those who are already connected with the lineage, it will be a precious opportunity to be with Rinpoche and deepen their study and practice.

The retreat will be in English with consecutive translation into Spanish.

NOTE: Those who register for this retreat will be admitted free to Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche’s evening talk on Spontaneous Creativity, to be held March 3, 2020 in Mexico City.
