What is the Ligmincha Mala?
The Ligmincha Mala is a group of supporters supporting the work of Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche and Ligmincha International through monthly donations. For as little as $25/month, you help us build and expand upon our mission of preserving the Tibetan Bön teachings and sharing them all around the world.
A mala, or prayer beads, is a perfect symbol for our community. There are the 108 smaller beads (which can be different colors, sizes and materials), a guru bead, and the string that unites them. Sometimes there are three larger beads known as “resting beads”. These are like our centers and practice groups around the world – places to set aside our pain identities and business in order to deeply rest and to practice together. he Buddhas and our root teacher, the source of the teachings in our lives, is represented by the guru bead. The beads are us practitioners. The string that unites us are the teachings and our practice. Together we create a community of practice manifesting love, joy, compassion and equanimity in a world that so very much needs them.
By gifting on a monthly basis you become a consistent part of our work to build a world of lovingkindness through meditation and self-transformation.
