Join us for a Global Mantra Marathon on January 11 for the benefit of His Eminence Yongdzin Lopön Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche on the occasion of his 95th birthday. For 24 hours, from January 11, 2020 at 10 a.m. (New York time) until January 12, 2020 at 10 a.m. (New York time,) Ligmincha will host an online space to recite and accumulate long life mantras. Everyone is invited to participate in this event, which will take place via Zoom.
You can join and participate at any time, for as long and as often as you wish. You may recite the mantras at your own individual speed. Some people will recite faster, others a little slower, just as it is when you recite together.
After participating, you can report the mantras you have accumulated using our online form. In this way all mantras can be included in a total sum which we will offer to our beloved master during the upcoming celebrations.
There will always be someone online reciting mantras, so you will never find yourself alone online. You will be able to see and hear each other and even see one another if your video is enabled. This creates a great feeling for the global sangha that we all will be accumulating mantras together.
How does the event work?
This global online event will be opened on January 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. (New York time) by one of our local practice groups in Germany with Guru Yoga, immediately followed by recitation of the Long Life Mantra. This recitation will continue uninterrupted until January 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. (New York time) and will end with a practice group in Colombia offering the dedication.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the many volunteers from Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Hungary, Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, Switzerland, Poland, the United States, Peru, and Colombia who are ensuring that our event is maintained throughout.
