The Nine Winds – Exploring the Oneness of Breath and Awareness
The winds (lung, prana or chi) are the essential energy underlying all existence. In the chapter “The Infinite Sphere of Light” of Bon Mother Tantra, nine winds describe the movement of the layers of consciousness from the gross to the subtle. These winds move not only within us, but also collectively, through our families, communities and our entire world system. Everything from the subtlest reality of mind’s nature to the greatest physical forces moves according to the forces of these winds. In this seminar we will explore breathing and mindfulness practices that support the transformation of suffering stemming from four of the nine winds: blockages that cause disease, karmic patterns held in our body and energy field, emotional injuries and obscurations of the conceptual mind that impede self-actualization. When we open ourselves, we unlock new avenues that support positive expression and transform our perceptions of ourselves and others, which is beneficial to the health of our bodies, our relationships, and our world.

24-Hour Full Moon Practice:
Embracing Attachment, Cultivating Generosity
During the full moon of June 3, 2023, join us online for a guided meditation followed by a 24-hour session of mantra recitation, contemplative breathing practice, and further periods of guided meditation. Our online gathering offers a sacred space in which to acknowledge the personal pain of our lives and societal challenges of our times, and to heal and transform them by collectively opening to clearer, more positive, generative states of mind.
Each full moon we will acknowledge a particular pain or challenge and will be supported to open to and embrace pain with compassion, allowing positive healing qualities to emerge. This month we focus on meeting any sense of attachment we may experience in our body, speech, and mind with openness and warmth, clearing and opening the pathways of generosity that are inherent to us. For more details see “About the June 3-4 Practice,” below.
The full moon practice is Part 4 of a yearlong cycle of live online teachings, meditations, and science & spirituality dialogs entitled “Embracing Life with Wisdom & Compassion.” The 24-hour session begins with a meditation guided by Lourdes Hinojosa at 10 a.m. New York time on the day of the full moon and continues unbroken until 10 a.m. the following day. We will be supported by Ligmincha International’s global community of practitioners.
Unlike Rinpoche’s CyberSangha® Facebook Live broadcasts, the 24-hour full moon practice takes place via Zoom. It is open to all and there is no cost to participate, but registration is required.

Meditation, Breath and Movement: Tsa Lung External Internal and Secret Practices
with Alejandro Chaoul-Reich
Location: ligminchalearning.com
Tsa lung is a series of ancient yogic practices that brings balance and harmony to our physical body, energy and mind. The term tsa lung can be translated as the energy-winds (Tibetan: lung, Skt. prana, Chinese, qi) in the Channels, for these practices are designed to open the subtle channels, guiding the healthy flow of the energy-winds so that we can enjoy good health and reconnect with more calmness to a quiet, peaceful mind. These exercises are easy to perform and are suitable for everyone.
There are three levels of tsa lung practice: external, internal and secret. External tsa lung works primarily on the physical level, using simple movements and breath exercises to balance the energies within our body. Internal tsa lung works more at the level of breath and subtle energy, bringing our attention to opening the five chakras and the central channel. Secret tsa lung uses subtle visualizations within the chakras and central channel to bring harmony to the mind, so that we can rest in our inner refuge, nature of mind. All of the tsa lung exercises integrate and balance the five elements within: earth, water, fire, wind and space.
These practices are drawn from the Bön Mother Tantra (Tibetan: Ma Gyud) the highest tantra in our tradition. They are a beautiful complement to any meditation practice, and particularly to dzogchen. They are frequently performed at the beginning of a session so that meditation is deeper and more stable. External tsa lung is commonly performed in all Ligmincha centers and groups.

Profiles in Generosity: Sharing Loving-Kindness through Organ Donation
A live online conversation with Marina and Bob Felix, Larissa Scherbatow, Marion Chaygneaud-Dupuy, Erick Rinner, and Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
Our panelists share with host Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche two very personal stories of organ donation as an expression of selfless love and generosity. Last February Marion Chaygneaud-Dupuy of Lhasa, China, offered one of her kidneys to her partner, Erick Rinner. Larissa Scherbatow of North Carolina donated a kidney this year to her daughter, Marina Felix. Marina’s husband, Bob, joins us in this inspiring discussion of uncertainty, challenge, giving, and acceptance.

Sleep Yoga: The Yoga of Clear Light
with Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
We spend one-third of our life in sleep, yet for most people sleep is a period of unconsciousness. Through the practices of the Yoga of Clear Light we can learn to be completely aware during our sleep, open, clear, resting in deep meditative presence. But how do we get from our current stress and disrupted sleep patterns to the state of clear light?
This course will introduce simple techniques to enter into sleep in a healthy, balanced way. Even if we do not consistently enter into clear light sleep, we can benefit from a refreshing, relaxed sleep that gives us deep renewal. This is supported by breathing techniques, physical postures and guided visualizations. Tenzin Rinpoche will also provide a meditation to wake up in a beautiful way, feeling the blessings of sleep and stepping into our day with serenity. Through these simple practices we can transform our sleep to be one of tranquility and awareness.

In this course, Rinpoche will give another part of the Tummo teachings (practices of inner heat and bliss).
The teachings and meditation help us to connect with our own heart. Through these teachings we discover within ourselves space, openness and an unlimited source of possibilities. By connecting with our own essence, the nature of the mind, we can transform our lives to be more joyful and valuable.
Practicing meditation in our daily lives enriches our relationships with other people, helps us approach our work in a more creative way, and teaches us how to use our lives in a more wise and compassionate way.

Discover your Inner Light with Sacred Breath
Experiencing our authentic being through the teachings of the Six Lamps and the Tummo.
In this retreat, Rinpoche will combine the Six Lamps teachings with tummo breathing exercises, presenting the benefits of both aspects of knowledge and practice on experiencing the nature of mind.
Lamps light our way in the dark, and at the same time they light themselves. The Guide to the Six Lamps is an important Dzogchen work and one of the root texts of the Zhang Zhung Nyengyu. This teaching describes the principles of realizing the natural state and how they can be experienced by the practitioner. The text describes Trekchö and Thögal practices as revealed by Tapihritsa to Gyerpung Nangzher Löpo.
Tummo, or the fireball of primordial wisdom, is a practice that cultivates inner bliss while burning away subtle obscurations to dwell in our natural state of mind. Tummo refers to our inner fire, inner heat and wisdom.
The retreat will be translated from English into German.

RETREAT
Tummo, The Bliss of Realization, Part 3
with Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
In this course, Rinpoche will give another part of the Tummo teachings (practices of inner heat and bliss).
The teachings and meditation help us to connect with our own heart. Through these teachings we discover within ourselves space, openness and an unlimited source of possibilities. By connecting with our own essence, the nature of the mind, we can transform our lives to be more joyful and valuable.
Practicing meditation in our daily lives enriches our relationships with other people, helps us approach our work in a more creative way, and teaches us how to use our lives in a more wise and compassionate way.
Translation: The course will be in English with translation into Polish and other languages.
Time
August 8 (Tuesday) - 13 (Sunday)
Location
Wilga, Poland

RETREAT
with Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche

Awakening The Sacred Arts: Discover Your Creative Potential
with Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
“When you know how to tap fully into this open, creative flow, its beneficial qualities can extend to any area of your life. You can paint more masterful paintings. Your music can have more depth of connection. Your writing can be more genuine and moving. You will be able to solve problems at work, resolve conflicts with loved ones, or even shift your thought patterns with more natural spontaneity”.
– Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, July 2016 Lion’s Roar: Read the full article
Join us for this opportunity to free yourself from creative obstacles, nurture your capacity for joyful self-expression, and make positive changes in your life.
This four-week online workshop is for anyone who seeks to usher a vision into reality – whether through creative problem solving, personal growth, or bringing creative artistry to a whole new level.
The Tibetan spiritual traditions tell us that unleashing our dynamic creative energy is a matter of recognizing and tapping into the wellspring of creativity that already exists within us. Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche will instruct and guide simple meditation practices of body, speech and mind that can help you to:
- Recognize and clear physical, energetic, and mental obstacles blocking your creative flow
- Connect with and trust in your innate creative potential
- Discover the inner strength and confidence that can allow your creativity to naturally blossom
Workshop participants will be encouraged to devote daily time to meditation practice and to pursuing their personal creative process. An online “creative sharing” forum will permit sharing the fruits of your creative practice, should you wish to do so.
Take this unique opportunity to join Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche and an international online community of creative artists-professional and amateur writers, painters, poets, musicians-as well as people who are simply interested in bringing their journey of personal growth to fruition.

COURSE
